Haroo every dog and girl girl,

I have been on Nutro dog food most of my young life but have gotten to where I don't like hard dog food anymore. So since my Mom now works at Petco she has contacts to lots of new food for me, So she tried a new food the other day that comes in a roll and I LOVE IT!!

Mom's New Job

Hi everypup and Girl Girl,
I got the bestest news, My Mom is working part time at a breand new Petco store that is opening in Coralville, Iowa.
She said when they open next week she is going to buy me lots of new treats and toys.
I wasn't really sure I would like my mom working a second job sine she already has a full time job and the new one will require her to be gone some weekends but if new cookies and toys are coming for me then I will approve of her working there as long as the treats keep coming.
I just hope she doesn't decide to bring home any more animals, we have plenty of those already.

I am in for round 7 and could really use some more votes if you doggies dont mind. Thanks to everyone that voted for me last time. We got 6 more inches of snow on sunday. My parents say this is the worst winter they have seen in many years, I say its not bad at all. More snow for me to dive in to.
I did a really bad thing today and ate a whole box of chocolate valentine candy, It was delicious but now I am horkaing all over. Well worth it to me.

Haroo everypup and girl girl,

Here are the pictures of our bewootiful snow, 14 lovely inches of snow. As you can see I like to take all of my toys outside, They were buried under the snow but I found them and pulled them all out.

Once in a while I will bring some of them back in the house but then take them back out.

I didnt realize it had been so long since I posted anything. We got 14 inches of bewootiful snow today. I just love playing in the snow. As soon as my Mom gets back from California I will have her take some pictures.

The humans think it's funny when I go running out the door and slide, I don't find it funny at all.

Rocky has passed over the rainbow bridge

Every pup and girl girl,

It is with a sad heart that I have to report that my best friend Rocky has gone over the rainbow bridge. We don't really know what happend but some how he ended up with a compressed disc in his spine and was unable to walk. No vet around here would do the surgery he needed and the place we would have had to take him was very very expensive. My Mom and Dad decided that it was best to have him put down because he was in so much pain. So farewell my dear friend. I miss you so much, Love Sooky

I am a little late posting but my mom has been sick again, This time she has pleurisy, Anyway it was my 1st birthday on Sunday just like Kat and Steve. My mom made me a french vanilla cake with butter cream frosting and I got a new rawhide chew bone. It was a great first birthday

How to Hug a Baby
Instructions for properly hugging a baby.

1. First, spy a baby.

2. Second, be sure that the object you spied was indeed a baby by employing classic sniffing techniques. If you smell baby powder and the wonderful aroma of wet diapers this is indeed a baby.

3. Next you will need to flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process.

4. The "paw slide" Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.

5. Finally, if a camera is present, you will need to execute
the difficult and patented "hug, smile, and lean" so as to

Haroo everypup and girl girl,

As you all know we now have a fence around the yard. The humans built it 6 feet tall so I wouldn't escape but they forgot that I can dig. Since I never showed them my true digging qualities they thought it would take me a long time to dig out but I fooled them. I have not escaped once or twice but three times. I heard my dad say today that he is going to fill that area with concrete. Here are some pictures of my escape holes.

Sometimes they make me shake first but usually just wooing at them will get me a treat.

I would love to spend the day with my big brother and sister Macie and Malechai, Someday I hope to meet them.

I have a stuffed cow that is my favorite toy, other than that I would say my Kong filled with yummy peanut butter.

It would have to be that we had another sibe for me to play with, Rocky doesn't like to play too much, Guess he's getting old.

The Fence

The fence is finally done. Here are some pictures of my first romp around the yard. I love to do zoomies around the whole yard. Mom is afraid I'm going to break a leg with all of the holes Rocky and I have dug. The last picture is one of our masterpiece holes that we are working on. Should be reaching China any day now. All the humans need to do now is get us a pool.

Just wanted to let every dog know that I am still here. My mom has been sick so haven't been able to post. The good news is our fence is almost done and should be finished this weekend.

Help! They're Multiplying

Our other cat Tessa had 3 babies on Friday.Yes, they are cute but they all need to go live somewhere else. Mom says Mia and Tessa can't go back outside until they are fixed and that will be as soon as the kittens are weaned. Thankfully there is only 3 this time. Here are some pictures of the other kittens too. They are growing fast.

Rocky and I have been miserable with stupid fleas and my Mom was wondering if any of your Mom's and Dad's had any ideas for getting rid of them. We would prefer something all natural but at this point I dont think it matters.

Hi every pup and girl girl,
My Mom says I have been causing alot of trouble at home lately. I just get bored and chew on things when I get left alone. I chewed up a flashlight, my dads new dvd movie, some fireworks, and a few rolls of paper towels. Thats not too much, I sure could have chewed up more stuff.
Someday the humans will learn not to leave me alone or at least fill my kong with that oh so yummy peanut butter. I mean they know how much I love peanut butter, It's my all time favorite treat. I have even managed to get the jar off the counter and chew the lid off it. It was heavenly. The kittens are doing good, They are really growing fast. I like to lick their little heads, gotta taste them, right? Mom has some videos of them she just cant figure out how to put them on my blog, The fence is coming along, slowly but getting there. Let the Fencing Begin!!

The Great Escape

Hi all you pups and fufu,
My humans aren't very smart, They got tired of me tangling the chain around the tree so they moved it, That's when I chewed the Dish TV wire. So the male human used a hammer drill and attached the chain to the house using a large eye bolt. Guess they thought it was good enough but I showed them, Yesterday I pulled it right out of the house. Lucky for them my chain got tangled around the neighbors rose bushes and the nice lady brought me home. So then lastnight I broke my collar, This time I went the other direction and was checking out all the wonderful smells in our other neighbors yard, Mom got the box of treats out and shook them and I came running, Just can't resist those treats. Next time I won't make it so easy for them to catch me.
My mom says I am getting too strong, What do they expect, I am a Husky!

Hi Pups and Fufu,

Can you see the Owl? My mom took this picture at her work the other day. The owl was looking right at her. She wanted to get a picture closer up be he flew away before she could take another one. Mom said there are a lot of owls where she works and in the summer you can hear the babies sqwaking for their moms and dads.

My mom really likes owls. Looks like a tasty treat to me!

Can you see my lovely masterpiece? This is the cable wire that goes to the humans Directv Dish. My mom and dad got tired of untangling my chain from around the tree so my dad thought he was smart and moved it but what he didn't realize is that now I can reach all these lovely wires and chew them up, Lucky for them I only got the one for the local channels. Guess that will teach them.

Hi Everyone, Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. My mom wanted me to post some new pictures of myself so here are a couple. My new thing is to jump into the bathtub, It's even more fun when there is water in it and I can make a big mess. Now that all the snow is gone I have heard my mom and dad talking about the new fence they are going to be putting up so Rocky and I have a place to run and play and not have to be on that stupid chain anymore.

Well I am 5 months old now and my mom thinks I am going to be small for a husky, I think the vet got her a little worried the last time I was there because she told her that she thought I was kind of small. Anyway I sure miss seeing blogs from Macie and Malechai, I hope everything is ok with them and their humans. Iowa Ice Storm 2007

Boy did we get one heck of an Ice storm yesterday. We lost power from 4:00 pm until 1:00am. our parents thought it was cold in the house but I thought it was quite lovely. This is a picture of one of our trees taken today. Alot of the ice and snow is melting now but I heard my mom say that there are alot of powerlines still down and some people don't have any electricity yet.
One thing that wasn't very nice was my parents were laughing at me whenever they let me outside and I would slip on the ice. That's all for now, Puppy Kisses, Sooky

Rocky and I are both in a contest called Kibbles and Bits Most smoochable Pooch contest. Voting for the state winners ends Friday Feb 16th. This is Rocky, He lives with me. My Mom says Rocky is part American Eskimo (whatever that means) I think it means he likes snow too. Hi all you pups out there, Just wanted to say I never would have found this blog thing if it wasn't for my older brother and sister Malechai and Macie. I have never met them but they seem like real cool Huskies to me. They were from the litter before mine, So a little about me, I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. They all went to different homes. We came from a farm in Kalona, Iowa

The girl who owns my Husky parents has a website at http://www.majesticsiberians.com/ She was very nice to us and found us all real good homes. These pictures were taken when I first got to my furever home, My mom's getting a new camera in a few days so she will have some better pictures of what I look like now, I hear her say all the time how big I am getting. Hello, My name is Sooky (actually it's Sakiena) but my owners call me Sooky, The dog in the picture with me is my buddy Rocky, He lived here before me. We have become great friends.

Currently I am 16 weeks old and have been living with my family for 8 weeks now, Wow has it been that long, Seems like only yesterday that they brought me home from the place I was born in Kalona, Iowa. Being that I am a Siberian Husky I love the snow, there is nothing better except maybe chasing the cats around.
