Iowa Ice Storm 2007

Boy did we get one heck of an Ice storm yesterday. We lost power from 4:00 pm until 1:00am. our parents thought it was cold in the house but I thought it was quite lovely. This is a picture of one of our trees taken today. Alot of the ice and snow is melting now but I heard my mom say that there are alot of powerlines still down and some people don't have any electricity yet.
One thing that wasn't very nice was my parents were laughing at me whenever they let me outside and I would slip on the ice. That's all for now, Puppy Kisses, Sooky

I graduated from puppy school yesterday, We did some agility courses which was lots of fun, Too bad they saved the fun stuff till the last day. We still have lots of snow even though some of it is melting. Rocky and I didn't make the final cut in the photo contest but there will be others, Thanks to everyone who voted for us. Rocky and I need your help

Rocky and I are both in a contest called Kibbles and Bits Most smoochable Pooch contest. Voting for the state winners ends Friday Feb 16th. I was in the lead and someone came out of the blue and knocked me to 2nd place, Each state winner gets a years supply of dog food and goes on the the national competition where the winner gets a trip, money and their photo on dog food.

This is Rocky, He lives with me. My Mom says Rocky is part American Eskimo (whatever that means) I think it means he likes snow too. He's a great dog and takes good care of me except when I try to take his food, He doesn't seem to like that very much. Anywoo please give him a warm welcome, Oh yeah, I also added some pics of my husky parents and my big bro and sis when they were little to my blog.

I'm new to this blog thing

Hi all you pups out there, Just wanted to say I never would have found this blog thing if it wasn't for my older brother and sister Malechai and Macie. I have never met them but they seem like real cool Huskies to me. They were from the litter before mine, So a little about me, I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. They all went to different homes. We came from a farm in Kalona, Iowa

The girl who owns my Husky parents has a website at http://www.majesticsiberians.com/ She was very nice to us and found us all real good homes. These pictures were taken when I first got to my furever home, My mom's getting a new camera in a few days so she will have some better pictures of what I look like now, I hear her say all the time how big I am getting. As you can see I am what they call a bi-eyed I have one blue eye and one green eye. It snowed today and boy did I have fun playing in it. That's all for now, Puppy kisses, Sookie

Hello, My name is Sooky (actually it's Sakiena) but my owners call me Sooky, The dog in the picture with me is my buddy Rocky, He lived here before me. We have become great friends.

Currently I am 16 weeks old and have been living with my family for 8 weeks now, Wow has it been that long, Seems like only yesterday that they brought me home from the place I was born in Kalona, Iowa. Being that I am a Siberian Husky I love the snow, there is nothing better except maybe chasing the cats around.
